Treasure Valley Solutions designs and installs smart home, commercial AV, low-voltage, and security camera systems across residential and commercial environments. From homes and builder projects to offices, restaurants, and facilities with serious security needs—we do it all, and we do it right. We’re looking for a Smart Home & Security Technician who takes pride in clean installs, understands structured wiring, and isn’t afraid of larger commercial camera systems. If you like real projects, real responsibility, and tech that actually matters—this role is it. What You’ll Be Doing Install and configure smart home and commercial technology systems Install, aim, and configure security camera systems (residential & commercial) Run, terminate, and test low-voltage wiring (Cat6, Cat6A, speaker, control wire) Mount TVs, install commercial displays, video distribution, and conferencing gear Install network equipment: racks, switches, patch panels, and access points Test, label, and document systems so they’re reliable and supportable Walk clients through system operation in clear, simple terms Maintain clean, professional job sites—homes and businesses Work independently or lead install teams on larger projects What We’re Looking For Experience in smart home, low-voltage, AV, or security camera installation Comfortable working in commercial environments (lifts, ceilings, racks, IDF/MDF rooms) Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Ability to explain technical systems without jargon Clean work habits and pride in craftsmanship Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation Big Plus If You Have Experience With: Commercial security camera systems (multi-camera, NVR/VMS setups) Networking: VLANs, PoE switches, Wi-Fi design Rack building, labeling, and documentation Control systems (Control4, Savant, Crestron, etc.) New construction or retrofit commercial projects What You’ll Get Competitive pay based on experience Steady work across residential and commercial projects Training on advanced systems and larger security deployments Clear growth path to Lead Technician or Project Specialist A team that values quality over shortcuts Work you can actually be proud to put your name on Why Treasure Valley Solutions We build smarter, safer, more connected spaces —from homes to commercial facilities.
